Henry Harold Little

Henry Harold Little, 98, of Landis, formerly of Kannapolis, passed peacefully into the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 3, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born on March 18, 1924 in Salisbury, Henry was one of 7 children born to Joseph Franklin Little and Eva Owens Little. In addition to his parents, Henry is preceded in death by his six siblings, his wife Mildred Watson Little, his son Dennis James Little and his grand son-in-law Chris Lewis.

 Henry was a lifelong area resident and longtime member of West A Tabernacle Baptist Church where he directed the choir for many years. He was a proud veteran of the US Navy serving during WWII in the Pacific. Later he worked as a fixer in the Carding room at Cannon Mills. Henry was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He will be dearly missed.

 Henry is survived by son David Little (Dianne) of Landis; his granddaughters, Amber Lewis and Allison Little, both of Kannapolis and his beloved great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Caleb and Madisyn Lewis.

 A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, August 10 with Rev. Rodney Efird officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
