Helen Frances Sherrill

Helen Frances Sherrill, 86, of Mooresville passed away Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Atrium Health Cabarrus.

She was born May 28, 1934 in Cabarrus Co. to the late Claude B. Little and Grace Kiser Little.

Helen retired from Fieldcrest Cannon where she worked many years in the sewing room. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, going to the beach, shopping, and fishing. Helen is most remembered for her selflessness and generosity as she put the needs of others before her own. She will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by two daughters Sharon Diane Graham and Katherine Denise Graham, one granddaughter Courtney Bree Graham, sisters Louise McQuay, Jane Martin, and Gail Anderson, and brothers Buck Little and Danny Little.

Those left to cherish her memories include her husband Wayne Sherrill, son Darrell Graham (Taffy), daughter Cindy Triece (Doug), one sister Barbara Suggs (George), two stepdaughters, Tammy Wilkerson (Gilbert), and Donna Wilson, 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at a later date.
