Helen Leona (Nichols) London

Helen Nichols London, 87, of China Grove passed away Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Atrium Health Cabarrus.
She was born July 10, 1934 in Rowan Co. to the late David Smith Nichols and Edna Laura Kirkman Nichols.
Helen was a member of Central Baptist Church; she was a caring and loving wife for 68 years to her husband Robert whom passed away July 2019. She enjoyed crafting, DIY, and making her grandchildren clothing. She raised two sons and also one grandson. She loved spending time with family and especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert London, a son Bobby London, and a sister Judy King.
Those left to cherish her memory, son, Steven London (Phyllis "Carter") of China Grove, five grandchildren, Anna London, Robert London (Colette), Steven London Jr. (Adrianna) Carmen London, Garrett London, one great grandchild, Soren London, and Brother Lee Nichols (Carol).
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Curtis Parker officiating.
