Helen Marie Hall

The world lost a beloved wife, mother and grandmother.

Helen Marie Stewart Hall, 78 of China Grove, N.C. ascended into Heaven surrounded by her loving family on January 18, 2021 at sunrise 7:13 a.m.

 Helen was born July 31, 1942 in Rowan County to the late Rodney and Falletta Mae Stewart. She retired from Linn- Corriher Mills in Landis, N.C., and was a member of God’s Tabernacle Spirited Baptist Church in Kannapolis, N.C.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Edith Stewart and Edna Upright. Brothers Richard Stewart and Larry Stewart and her daughter Susie Jackson Hinson

She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years whom she married on February 13, 1965, Melvon “Kirby” Hall. Her sons Pastor Wayne Hall (Barbara) of Kannapolis, N.C., William Hall       (Pat), Wade Hall (Christy) of Salisbury N.C., George Hall of China Grove, N.C. Her daughters Beverly Brown (Rev. Ronnie ) of Kannapolis, N.C., Alysia Hall (Travis Brady ) of Salisbury, N.C., 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Sisters, Dot Smith of Kannapolis, N.C. and Judy Berryhill of Laurinburg, S.C. Brother David Stewart of Huntsville, Alabama. Her loving companion that was her baby, Bam-Bam and Chewy.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, January 22, 2021 at Mount Olive Freewill Baptist Church, 229 Westover Ave. Kannapolis, N.C. officiated by Rev. Wayne Hall, Rev. Ronnie Brown, Rev. Randy Simmons.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove, N.C.

The Hall family would like to express a special Thank You to the caretakers for the Love they showed to our Mom during her sickness. Beverly Brown and Kimberly Gulledge was her babies and she loved them very much.
