Hazel Lee Holland

Hazel L. Holland, 85, of China Grove, left this world and entered into eternal peace, Monday, August 8, 2022, at Autumn Care of Marshville. Born December 27, 1936 in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Beulah Holland.

Hazel owned and operated Carina Studios in Kannapolis for over forty years. She enjoyed Scrooge McDuck, Richie Rich and Lone Ranger Comic Books. More than anything else, Hazel loved her family.

Her memory will be forever cherished by her grandson, Joshua Miles; granddaughter, Meredith Miles; great-grandson, Sean McCain; great-granddaughters, Paisely Miles and Layla Spence; and son in-law, Rodney Calvert.

Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Gloria Calvert

Graveside services to honor Hazel’s life will be held 11:00 AM Friday, August 12, 2022 in the Mount Zion section of Green Lawn Cemetery, China Grove. There will be no visitation prior to the service.
