Harry A Kluttz Jr.

Harry Augustus Kluttz Jr., 98, of Concord passed away October 31, 2019 at his home. He was born April 24, 1921 in Cabarrus County, a son of the late Harry A. Kluttz Sr. and Belle Dorton Kluttz.

Harry was part owner and a building contractor for Kluttz Brothers Building Contractors and Supplies. He was a veteran of the US Army  serving in WW II where he received various medals and commendations including a Silver Star. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Concord.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, Nov. 3, 2019 at First Baptist Church in Concord. Burial will be at a later date. His family will receive friends after the service.

Harry is survived by his wife, Rena Whitley Kluttz, son, Howard Kluttz (Karen), daughter, Susan K. Clay (Chris), grandchildren, Harrison Kluttz, Whitney Clay Coonradt (Scott), Corbin Clay (Karla), great grandchildren, Riley and Cayden Coonradt, Carolina, Savannah and Tinley Clay and his brother, Ray Kluttz.
