Harold Lester Small, Jr., 83, of Davidson, passed away Saturday February 13, 2021 after a period of declining health. Born July 15, 1937 in Cabarrus County, he was the son of the late Harold Lester and Thelma Eunice Hinson Small.
Harold honorably served his country in the United States Navy. During his working years, he was a supervisor at Cannon Mills. His hobbies included flounder fishing on his boat, barbequing, and raising and harvesting blackberries.

We were so sorry to hear about Harold. I always enjoyed my visits with him and walking over the yard looking at the flowers and plants and those wonderful blackberries. Now he could grown some blackberries! We had some really good talks and laughs.
I am sure he is resting peacefully now and "no more pains". We will remember you all in our prayers.

February 16, 2021 10:54 AMHarold and Jane have always been bonus grandparents to us. I will never forget the love he showed our family, the friendship he had with Grandpa and our conversations around our TV shows. I was blessed to know him. I will hold on to the memories I have and the joy of knowing he is up in Heaven fishing with grandpa. Our love and prayers go to Jane and the entire family.
