Harold Small, Jr Obituary

Harold Lester Small, Jr., 83, of Davidson, passed away Saturday February 13, 2021 after a period of declining health. Born July 15, 1937 in Cabarrus County, he was the son of the late Harold Lester and Thelma Eunice Hinson Small.

Harold honorably served his country in the United States Navy. During his working years, he was a supervisor at Cannon Mills. His hobbies included flounder fishing on his boat, barbequing, and raising and harvesting blackberries.

A private funeral will be held on Friday, February 19.

Harold is survived by his loving wife Jane Craven Small; five children, Terra Johnson and husband Barry, Kandi Willis and husband Tim, Paula Litaker and husband Jeff, Harold L. Small, III and wife Kristi and Doug Small and wife Deena; eleven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Elaine VonCannon and Carolyn Ervin; and a brother Jeff Small.

Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Joy Arnder and a granddaughter MacKenzie Small.
