Harmon Steven "Steve" Pierce

Harmon Steven “Steve” Pierce, 73, of Kannapolis went to be with His Lord and Savior on Monday, April 26, 2021 following a long period of declining health.

Steve was born December 23, 1947 in Cabarrus County, NC a son of the late Harmon Jack Pierce and Mary Elizabeth Smith Pierce. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Joan Marie Pierce Plott.

Steve was retired from Cannon Mills Plant #1 cutting department. He was a member of Centerview Baptist Church, Kannapolis. He was a 1966 graduate of A. L. Brown High School.

Funeral services to celebrate Steve’s life will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Centerview Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Willie Rash. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:30 P.M.-2:00 P.M. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.

Family members left to cherish his memory are a brother, Douglas L. Pierce, Sr. and his wife Celeste S. Pierce of Kannapolis.

He is also survived by two nephews, six nieces, four great nieces and two great nephews.

The family requests that social distancing be observed and masks be worn.
