Gregory Allan Rogerson

Gregory Allan "Greg" Rogerson, 60, of Midland passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Atrium Health Cabarrus, after a period of declining health.

A graveside service will be held at the Salisbury National Cemetery at 1:00 PM Monday, November 1st with military honors.

Greg was born October 4, 1961 in Toledo OH, a son of the late Kenneth L. Rogerson and Ms. Jean Johnston Meyers of Midland. In addition to his father, Greg was preceded in death by his step-mother, Jeannean Rogerson.

Greg moved this area from OH as a teenager, then after high school, he join the US Airforce; where he trained as a parajumper. Later he was a volunteer fireman in Gaston Co. Greg was self-employed as a residential home remodeler and carpenter. He was a jack of all trades. He also worked on cars. Greg enjoyed fishing, going to the beach and the mountains. He was a fan of country music and watching NASCAR races. He was a generous soul and live to help people. Greg was a loving son and will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his mother Jean Johnston Meyers of the home, his brother, Scott J. Rogerson of Sylvania OH, his sons, Gregory Allan Rogerson, Jr. of Calabash and Robert William Rogerson of Laurinburg and 6 grandchildren.
