Geraldine L. (Lambert) Hudson

Geraldine Lambert Hudson, 91 years old, of Kannapolis, went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 22, 2022.  Geraldine was born on October 22, 1931 in Cabarrus County to the late Jesse and Vannie Link Lambert.

Geraldine was the matriarch of her family, her career was raising her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great- great grandchildren.  She loved to cook, sing and make her family and friends laugh.  She was an avid card player, and enjoyed playing Set Back and Uno.  Geraldine and her late husband attended Calvary Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church.

Geraldine was predeceased by her husband, Francis Miles “Pete” Hudson in 2010; her daughter, Starr H. Coley; her grandsons, Matthew Charles Hudson and Neil Reed Hudson; her brother, Shirley Lambert and her sister, Maxine Mintz.  Those left to cherish her memory include, her sons, Phil Hudson and his wife Jill, Paul “Craig” Hudson, and Gil Hudson and his wife Bobbie; her daughter, Jan H. Bryant and her husband David; her sister, Laval Robinson; her seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and a very special and dear friend Marshann Hardin.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Whitley’s Funeral Home from 1-2pm with a funeral service to take place at 2pm in the Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park.
