Kannapolis
Franklin (Frank) Monroe Sawyer, 77 of Kannapolis passed away on October 18, 2020. He was born August 12, 1943 in Ashe County, a son of the late Ernest Hampton Sawyer and Mary Neely Sawyer.
Frank worked at Cannon Mills most of his life. He enjoyed walking and playing monopoly on the Wii.
Frank is survived by brothers, Ernest H. Sawyer, Jr. and David Eugene Sawyer, sisters, Nancy Sawyer Key and Louise Sawyer and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, Oct. 26, 2020 at Carolina Memorial Park (Westminster section) officiated by Rev. Dr. Carl Manuel. His family will receive friends after the service.
