Fannie Drye

Fannie “Louise” Christy Drye, 71, of Concord, passed away Thursday April 2, 2020 and entered in to the gates of Heaven and into her saviors loving arms. Louise fought a courageous battle of cancer and COPD.

Louise was born April 30, 1948 in Concord to Clarence and Fannie Knowles Christy. She was married to the late Wayne Henry Drye Sr.

She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren whom she loved very much. Louise was a devout Christian and she loved the Lord with all her heart. She loved and supported the Jimmy Swaggert Ministry. Louise always had a way to make people feel special by calling them honey.

Louise is preceded in death by her Husband, two sisters Mabel and Martha, one brother Clarence, a daughter Sylvia Lynn Whitlow, Stepson Ricky Dale Drye, and a stepdaughter “Daisy” Lou Drye.

Louise is survived by her daughter Angela Parks, three sons: Robert Whitlow II, Danny Whitlow, and Jeffrey (Cheryl) Drye, one step-son Wayne Drye Jr. and daughter Gabrielle Drye. Also, two sisters Brenda Meyers and Betty Foster, two granddaughters Amanda and Brooke Parks, three grandsons Robert Whitlow III, Trevor Whitlow, and Terry Talbert,  along with six great-grandchildren and a special niece Diane Goodman.
