Doris Lee (Freeze) Stillwell

Doris Lee Freeze Stillwell, 87, of Kannapolis, went into her heavenly home on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Transitional Health Services.

Doris was born on May 20, 1933 in Landis, NC to the late Herbert Edgar Freeze and Dorothy Correll Freeze. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Elbert Freeze, Leonard Freeze, Glen Freeze, Melvin Freeze, Ray Freeze, and Billy Freeze, and sisters, Mary Scarborough and Betty Daniels.

Doris spent her career as an inspector in the towel department of Cannon Mills. She enjoyed playing Bingo and solving Sudoku and crossword puzzles. She was an avid fan of the Carolina Panthers and the Atlanta Braves. She also was a fan of Randy Travis’s music. She was of the Christian faith and was a member of The Salvation Army Church in Concord.

Those left to cherish her memory include two sons, Randy Keith Stillwell and Eric Ray Stillwell; daughter, Tracey Lynn Britt and husband William E. Britt Jr.; grandsons, Randy Sloop Jr., Michael Britt, Austin Britt, and Ethan Britt; great-grandson, Maverick Sloop; sisters, Cora Ella McWaters, Nancy Clayton, and Joyce (Rodney) Robbins, and her sweet dog, Pandora.

Services will be private at this time.
