Obituary

Dinah Sue Carden Sink, 82, of China Grove, entered into eternal rest Friday January 6, 2023 after a period of declining health. Born February 14, 1940 in North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Pearl Rainer Carden.

Dinah spent her career in finance as a mortgage lender. She loved reading, eating and the sport of baseball.

She is survived by her nieces, Kim Hoyle and husband Wesley of China Grove, Leann Ledbetter; nephews Greg Waterman and wife Michele of Southport, NC, Tony Waterman and wife Tammy also of Southport, NC; and great nieces, Tera Carter, Brittany Waterman, Julie waterman and Megan Waterman. 

It was Dinah’s request that there be no formal service.
