Diane (Holbrook) Epting

Diane Holbrook Epting, 81, of Lady Lake, Florida, formerly of Kannapolis passed away July 25, 2022 in Florida.

She was born May 24, 1941 in Rowan County, a daughter of the late Lonnie David Holbrook and Vera Elizabeth Eller Holbrook.

 Diane was lifelong resident of Kannapolis until she moved to Florida in 2016. Diane retired from First Charter Bank in Kannapolis after many years of service.  She was past president of the Kannapolis Jaycees.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday, July 31, 2022 at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Pastor David Franks. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends prior from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Whitley’s.

 Diane is survived by daughters Elizabeth Halstenberg (William), Lisa Morris (Wayne), Leslie Hudson, and son Linny Gibson (Laurie); grandchildren Jacob, Hannah, Lauren, Brittany, Candice, Haley, Courtney, Hunter, Mitchell, MacKenzie, and David; and twelve great-grandchildren and brother, C.D. Holbrook (Sheryl).

Memorials may be made to First Reformed Church, 210 N Central Ave, Landis, NC 28088.
