Destiny Lynn Peregord

Destiny Lynn Peregord, 29, of Kannapolis, left this world all too soon on Saturday, June 11, 2022.

Destiny was born on December 8, 1992 in Albemarle, NC. She was a high school graduate of the Class of 2010.

She was a creative and talented artist, who loved to draw and paint. She also enjoyed writing poetry and playing video games. She had a special place in her heart for animals, especially dogs and cats. She was dearly loved by her family.

Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Tammy Leigh Robinson Palafox; father, Dwayne David Purkey; aunts, Melinda Fore and Amanda Robinson; uncles, Jeffrey Shane and Rodney Shane; sisters, Kecia Brown, Meka Robinson, Monique (Chloe) Russell, Zoey Palafox, and Braeleigh Palafox; brothers, Jose Palafox and Gabriel Purkey, and three beloved children. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Daniel Robinson and Qwinton Peregord.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Whitley’s Funeral Home. A funeral service honoring her life will follow and begin at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Whitley’s Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Craft officiating.
