Born Aug. 5th, 1969 in Forsyth County, NC., She was the daughter of the late Ben Perry and Reva Finchum Perry.

Debbie was a graduate of A.L. Brown High School in Kannapolis. Her primary work was as a Dispatcher at Paxton Van lines and Milan Express, where she was Head Dispatcher for the Day shift. She also worked with the United States Census Bureau as an assistant to the District Manager.  Debbie enjoyed reading novels, cooking, playing board games with her children, going to the beach, and being with her children. A loving, supportive, caring mother, sister, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Surviving Family include her two sons, Jason Chance Perry (Jessica) and Noah Alexander McCorkle; and her sister Sandra McIntosh Crites (Charles); also her niece Crystal Lee Mefford.

The family will receive family and close friends on Monday March 30th, from 3:30-4:30pm at Whitley's Funeral Home

Ms. Perry is set to be cremated and returned to the beach, a place she always referred to as "Heaven on Earth"

She fought hard to beat this Heart condition. She may be gone, and we will weep because we miss her and love her, but this is not the E.N.D. for her (Energy Never Dies).

The Family asks that in lieu of gifts, that donations either be made to help her sons pay for this funeral. If that has been achieved. Then it’s the families wishes these donations be paid to the Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute.
