Dawn (Harrington) Gryder

Dawn Harrington Gryder, age 64, of Landis passed away at her home on January 31, 2022. Her death was unexpected.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.

Dawn was born May 11, 1957 in Cabarrus Co., a daughter of the late John T. and Maude Plyler Harrington. In addition to her parents, Dawn was preceded in death by her infant son, Jon Paul Heberlein and her sister Ruth H. Wilkes.

Dawn was a lifelong area resident and longtime member of 1st Baptist of Enochville. She graduated from S. Rowan High School in 1975 and received her B.S. degree from High Point University in 1979.She worked for DNP Industries in Concord. Dawn was a loving and devoted wife, sister and friend. If you were her friend, you had a friend for life. She will be dearly missed.

Dawn is survived by her husband, James “Brad” Gryder of the home, her sisters; Jonnie H. Roseman (Clyde) of Kannapolis and Hannah H. Bost (Rev. Dale Bost) of Hickory. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
