Dale Harris Obituary

Dale Edward Harris, 94, of Old Alfred Road  Hollis, Maine (formerly of Kannapolis) passed away Thursday February 13, 2020 at his residence. He was born in Salisbury, Pennsylvania, November 15, 1925 the son of Dewey and Agnes Murray Harris.

Dale grew up in Pennsylvania and graduated from local schools. Dale served in the US Navy aboard the USS Richard J. Ward in the Atlantic Fleet. He worked for many years as an Automotive Electrician at places like United Auto and Portland Clutch. He was a member of the Freemasons and Shriners. Dale enjoyed golf, fishing, Bowling, singing and spending time with family, especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is predeceased by his wife Frances, brother James and a sister Jean Fulton.

Survivors include 2 sons Robert Harris and companion Chris Kelley of Otisfield and Richard Harris and his wife Debra of Hollis, a daughter Judy Darling and companion Phil Menard of Las Vegas, a brother Donald Harris and his wife Arlene of Concord, NC, 5 grandchildren Danny, Dennis, Teryn, Melissa and Christina and 4 great grandchildren Tyler, Belle, Jarrett and Harris.

Visitation was held Tuesday February 18, 2020 from 5 to 7 PM at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home 13 Portland Rd, Buxton ( Bar Mills) Maine.

Burial will beheld at Carolina Memorial Park Cemetery at noon Friday, Feb. 21, 2020
