Coy "Jack" Bostic Jr., 74, of Kannapolis, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 19, 2023, at Tucker Hospice House.
He was born June 12, 1948, in Cabarrus Co. to the late Coy Jack Bostic Sr. and Aileen Dabbs Bostic.
Jack was a 1967 graduate of A.L. Brown High School and received his associate degree in applied science from Rowan Technical Institute in manufacturing engineering technology in 1970. He worked at Fieldcrest Cannon for 25 years, and in 2013 he retired from Carlos J. Moore Architect, P.A.
Jack enjoyed many things in life: fishing, NASCAR, Carolina Panthers, A.L. Brown Wonders football, classic car shows, and spending time with his family most of all.
He was preceded in death by two sisters Brenda Allen, and Jewel "Sue" Smith, and one brother Wayne Bostic.
Those left to cherish his memory, are his wife Philda Bostic, two daughters, Dena Mabe (Jack) of Greensboro, and Ashley Bostic of Huntersville, one grandchild, Camden Jack Mabe, one sister Teresa Hileman (David) of Chester, VA, one brother Jerry Bostic (June) of Concord.
The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 23, at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Franks officiating, burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Whitley's Funeral Home.
