Courtney Michelle Kelly

Courtney Michelle Kelly, 31, of China Grove, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Atrium Health Cabarrus.

Courtney was born on December 10, 1989 in Cabarrus County, a daughter of the late Randy Allen Kelly, and Michelle Teague of China Grove. In addition to her father, Courtney is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Butch Kelly and James D. Owens.

Courtney will be remembered for her kind-hearted, silly nature. She loved animals, flowers and taking pictures on her phone every chance she got. Courtney was care free and loved trying out new looks by changing her hair. Most of all she loved her family. Nothing made her more happy then spending time with her children and sisters and being silly with them.

Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Michelle Teague and father Daniel Bryan Teague; lifelong companion, Philip Ray Grant II; children, Karma Rae’, Randy Allen, Evah Bliss, Maxine Monroe, and Philip Ray Grant III; Sisters, Stormey Jewel Kelly, Jadah RheAnnon and Brittany Lynch Teague; grandmothers, Robin Kelly and Glenda Owens; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be held at 11:00 A.M Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Raymond Davis officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.
