Cody Francis Lee Killian

Cody Francis Lee Killian, 27, of Charlotte went home to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, October 24, 2021.

Cody was born May 30, 1994 in Mecklenburg County, NC a son of Jerry Wade Killian and Pamela Kay Keziah Killian both of Rockwell.

Cody was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Salisbury. He was employed with Trull Chiropractic in Kannapolis . He was very involved with the LGBTQ community in Charlotte. He loved his job and his family.

A Memorial Service to Celebrate Cody’s life will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Bishop Phillip Smith. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 5:00 P.M.

Family members in addition to his parents include three sisters; Chrissy Killian Strickland (Tina) of Aberdeen,, Katie McMillan (Shane) of Lexington, and Cory Tavarez (Wilson) of Cleveland and his feline companion Tavili.

He is also survived by his Paternal Grandmother, Faye Killian of Albemarle, his Maternal Grandmother, Christine Newell of Rockwell, and step-mother Frances Keziah of Monroe. He was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandfather, Francis Lee Killian, his Maternal step-grandfather John Newell and his Maternal grandfather, Joe Keziah.

The family request that in Lieu of flowers memorials be made to the Rowan County Animal Shelter, 1465 Julian Rd, Salisbury, NC 28146.
