Clarence Hugh Robbins

Clarence H. Robbins, 66 a longtime resident of Charlotte went to be with the Lord on Wednesday January 20, 2021 following a short illness due to Covid-19.

Clarence was born February 2, 1954 in Denver, Colorado a son of the late Gordon Hugh Robbins and Margaret Belle Hamilton Robbins.

Clarence was an active member of Concord Church of Christ. He had a career in science and engineering and retired in December, 2010 as a Senior Vice-President of Woolpert, Inc.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Adam Jones. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service. Interment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park.

Family members left to cherish his memory include his wife, Vickie Loftis Robbins whom he married August 13, 1976, a brother, Lamont Robbins and wife Karen of Vancouver, WA.

He is also survived by nephews, Kyle Robbins of Denver, Co. and Kollin Robbins of Beaverton, Oregon.

He is also survived by two brothers-in-law; Ted and Randy Loftis and a sister-in-law, Betty Robinson, all of Tennessee.

He leaves behind many friends and special neighbors.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Concord Church of Christ, 4595 Poplar Tent Road, Concord, NC 28027.
