Christol Dawn (Broyles) Campbell

Christol Dawn Campbell, 45, of Davidson went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Atrium Health Cabarrus Northeast, Concord. Death was unexpected.

Christol was born February 26, 1976 in Shelby County, Tenn. a daughter of Ronnie and Shelby Jane Broyles Black of Gastonia.

She was owner/operator of Sparkly Clean Home Cleaning Service. She loved to garden and work outside. She also enjoyed arts and crafts. She was the best daughter, mother, sister, and grandmother to her family. She always made everyone smile and was loved by everyone she met.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Steve Small. The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until the time of the service.

Family members left to cherish her memory include her significant other; James Garton, five daughters; Stephanie Broyles of Kannapolis, Rose Broyles of Stanly, Treasure Hedrick and husband Derick of Lexington, Ashley Campbell of Davidson, and Alysa Campbell of Lexington.

She is also survived by five sisters, Patricia Rimmer of Naples, Fla., Shelly Clark of Mt. Holly, Wendy Bumgardner and Rhonda Christopher both of Dallas, NC. and Cindy Weidyla of Gastonia.

She is also survived by two brothers, Paul Black of Gastonia and Ronnie Black of Belmont and six grandchildren; Kenneth James, Raelynn Hedrick, Emmett Roy, Wyatt Hedrick, Paisley Everhart and Jace Garton. The family would like to acknowledge special friends Tim and Tammy Small.
