Christine Dellinger

Christine Dellinger, 86, of Kannapolis, N.C. passed away Tuesday, September 17th, 2019 at Hospice of Cabarrus county. She was the daughter of the late Harmon Teal and the late Bertha Chavis Teal of Kannapolis. Christine worked for Cannon Mills and then she retired from The Children’s Center where she worked for 25 years.

Christine is survived by her husband Phillip Glenn Dellinger. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters  Philda (Jack) Bostic of Kannapolis, N.C., Amy (Tim) Lind of Rock Hill, S.C., Tammy (Mark) Bringle of Landis, N.C. and Leslie (Keith) Fink of Kannapolis, N.C. She also has 10 Grandchildren and 5 great Grandchildren. Christine had one sister, the late Betty Ross Byrd of Kannapolis, N.C. She is proceeded in death by the late June Dellinger of Kannapolis

She loved her family and especially her 5 daughters. She was a loving, kind and wonderful mother and person. She loved to shop and fish.  Her favorite flower was the pink Rose.

Mom’s celebration of life service will be held at 1:30 on Friday, September 20th at Whitley’s Funeral home chapel. Visitation for family will take place prior to the service at 12:30. Graveside service will follow immediately at Carolina Memorial Park.
