Charles "Jolly" Benton II Obituary
Charles Ray “Jolly” Benton II, 51, of Rockwell passed away Friday, January 22, 2021 at the Tucker Hospice House. He was born April 19, 1969 in Cabarrus County, a son of Charles Ray Benton, Sr of Rockwell and the late Delane Phillips Benton.
“Jolly” was a registered nurse having worked at various hospitals in the area, but most recently worked for Hospice of Rowan County. He enjoyed fishing.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 Sunday, Jan. 24, 2021 at The Message Community Church. His funeral will be 1:00 PM Monday, January 25, 2021 at the church officiated by Rev. Ed Burns. Burial will follow at Brookhill Memorial Gardens.
He is survived by his father, Charles Ray Benton, Sr.
