Funeral Services:

A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Zion Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Jean Tucker officiating.

A visitation will be prior to the service from 12:00 to 1:00pm at Zion Freewill Baptist Church. 

Cassandra “Sandy” Regina Smith was a caring wife, mother, sister and friend. She passed away Friday, October 8, 2021 at age 59.

She was born to Jerry and Iris Tucker on August 24, 1962 in Concord, NC. 

She was preceded in death by her spouse, Walter Chad Smith Sr. in 2016. She is survived by her two sons, Walter Chad Smith Jr. of Rockwell, and Walker Chase Smith and wife, Hanna Smith, of Mt. Pleasant; her father, Jerry Tucker Sr. of Concord; a sister, Lisa Proffitt (Jason Elliott) of Robeson; a brother, Jerry Tucker Jr. and wife, Tonya Tucker, of Concord, a step-son Ed Tucker, one grandson, Noah Liam-Chase Smith; five nieces and nephews, Melissa Adams, Alisha Proffitt, Jay Tucker, Holly Tucker and Breanna Tucker; and a beloved canine companion, Tito.
