Carrie Lynn Davis, 34, of Kannapolis passed away Thursday, August 29, 2019. She was born October 2, 1984 in Cabarrus County, a daughter of Charles (Chuck) James Davis, Jr. and Edie Philemon Justice. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Connor James Hilburn and her grandmother that she loved very much, Barbara Davis.

Carrie was a graduate of Tabernacle Baptist School. She loved to draw, write poetry and sing. She also loved her chihuahuas, Chico and Skipper.

Her family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday, Aug. 30, 2019 at Whitley’s Funeral Home. A funeral service will be at 1:00PM Saturday, Aug. 31, 2019 at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Willie Rash. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.

She is survived by her paternal grandfather, Charles (Charlie) James Davis, Sr., maternal grandparents, David and Katheryn Earnhardt, father, Charles (Chuck) James Davis, Jr., mother, Edie Philemon Justice, 3 sisters, Shana Kinley, Katheryn Williams, Terri Williams, brother, Layton Justice, aunt and uncle, Dawn and George Smith, 3 nephews , 1 niece and 2 cousins.
