Buddy Durant Wade

Buddy Durant Wade, 66, passed away peacefully at his home on May 21, 2020, after a battle with illness.  He was born to the late Betty Wade Vanderburg on September 11, 1953 in Concord, NC.  After graduating from Central Cabarrus High School, Bud worked as a firefighter for the City of Concord before a long career at Philip Morris.  He was an avid outdoorsman and spent many days in the woods and on the water with friends and family.  Bud was preceded in death by his mother and by his son Brandon.  He is survived by his best friend and wife of 28 years, Tink Boone Wade; two sons, Buddy Jr & wife Lisa, and Jamie & wife Christie; daughter Michelle & husband Wayne; and seven grandchildren.  The family plans to hold a celebration of life service in the near future and will provide details once plans are finalized.

For those who may prefer, memorials may be made in Mr. Wade's name to Ebenezer Lutheran Church, 4914 Old Beatty Ford Rd., China Grove, NC  28023.
