Brenda Ross Honeycutt

Brenda Ross Honeycutt, 74, entered into the presence of God on February 19, 2022 surrounded by her family.

Brenda was born on October 1, 1947 in Concord, N.C., to the late Hillard T. Ross and Dorothy L. Ross. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Larry W. Ross.

Brenda was a 1966 graduate of A.L. Brown High School. She spent her career working in the communications field. Brenda retired from A.T.&T and Siemens (formally ROLM Corporation.) She also worked for Northeast Medical Center in Concord, N.C. in the patient registration field.

Brenda and her husband, Tony, later moved to North Myrtle Beach, S.C. to enjoy their retirement at their “Happy Place.” She is truly missed by her “beach family” and friends there.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband Tony; fur baby, Sofie; sister, Dottie Sherrill (Jim). Children, Jonathan T. Speaks (Jennifer), Angela S. Starnes (Nathan), Stacy L. Champagne (Paul), and Rodney L. Honeycutt; grandchildren, Sage Speaks, Adam Speaks, Dillon Durham, Carson Starnes, Mallory C. Zambrana (Zack), Nick Champagne, Zachary Honeycutt, Wesley Honeycutt, and AJ Dietrich.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m., Saturday June 4, 2022 at Whitley’s Funeral Home, Kannapolis, N.C. Graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Carolina Memorial Park, Concord, N.C.
