Bonnie Marie (Walters) Albright

Bonnie Marie Walters Albright, 64, of China Grove died Tuesday March 29, 2022 at Atrium Health Cabarrus after a hard-fought battle with Covid.

A funeral service celebrating her life will be held 11:00 AM Friday April 1st at Whitley's Funeral Chapel with Rev. Wesley Kirk officiating. The family will receive friends at Whitley's from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the funeral. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.

She was born on January 10, 1958 in Mooresville, a daughter of the late Clifford and Bertha Johnson Walters. In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her sister Seretti Hardin.

Bonnie was a life-long area resident, graduate of South Rowan H. S. - Class of 1976. She was raised in the Church of God and most recently attended Highest Praise Family Worship Center. Bonnie was the head title clerk for Copart Auto Auction in China Grove; retiring in 2020. She enjoyed spending time with her boys and cooking. Bonnie's desserts will be missed by all. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister and friend. Bonnie will be dearly missed.

Bonnie is survived by her husband of 41 years, Faron Albright, her sons Eric Albright and Darryl Albright, her brother, Jerry Walters (Bonnie), several loving nephews, her special "sister" Lynn Harkey and her dog "Dixie; all of China Grove.
