Bobby Ray Wilson

Bobby Ray Wilson, 61, of Salisbury, passed away February 5, 2020 at Atrium Health in Charlotte after a brief period of declining health. Born March 20, 1958 in Iredell County, he was the son of the late Earnest Leroy and Barbara Ann Payne Wilson.

He spent his working years as a well driller.

Bobby is survived by his wife Teresa Ritchie Wilson; a daughter, Kimberly Jones and husband Dustin of Salisbury; a son, Robert Wilson of Salisbury; a grandson, Cohen Jones; three sisters, Glenda Williams and husband Rick, Catherine Cline and husband Rick, and Janet Absher, all of Kannapolis; and a brother, Eddie Wilson and wife Jewel of Landis.

A funeral service to honor Bobby’s life will be held on Monday February 10, 2020 at 2:00PM at Whitley’s Funeral Home, 1748 Dale Earnhardt, Kannapolis. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park.
