Benjamin Mullis Obituary

Benjamin James Mullis, 41, of Kannapolis, passed away peacefully at his home on December 15, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.

Born on September 15, 1980 in Cabarrus Co., Benjamin was a son of Reid Mullis and the late Martha Sloop Mullis. He was a lifelong area resident and graduate of Northwest Cabarrus High School. He was a proud Eagle Scout. Benjamin was a longtime member of Kimball Memorial Lutheran Church. He was the Shop Foreman for Gopher Utilities in Kannapolis.

Benjamin is survived by his father Reid Mullis and "bonus mom", Candace Fisher; his brothers, Danial Mullis (Mendy) and Charles Mullis (Nika), all of Kannapolis and 5 nieces and nephews.

A celebration of his life will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, December 18 at Kimball Memorial Lutheran Church with Rev. John Futterer officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00 to 3:00 PM before the service.
