Becky (Fisher) Steele

Becky Fisher Steele, 66, of Kannapolis passed away on January 6, 2020 at the Tucker Hospice House. She was born December 30, 1953 in Cabarrus County, a daughter of the late George Thomas Fisher and Helen Glaris Smith Fisher. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Calvin Steele in 1990 and a sister, Debbie Fisher.

Becky had been a nurse for many years, working at Cabarrus Memorial Hospital and also at Cabarrus Pediatrics for many years. She was a member of Midway United Methodist Church. Becky loved crocheting, needlework and Carolina Tarheels basketball.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, Jan. 10, 2020 at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel officiated by De Hillyer. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday at Whitley’s.

Becky is survived by her son, David Steele (Christina), brother, Mike “Fish” Fisher, and sister, Beverly Fisher.
