Barbara Elizabeth Owens

Barbara Elizabeth Owens, 54 years old, passed into the presence of her Savior Jesus Christ on December 30, 2021.  Barbara was born in Gainesville, FL on February 3, 1967 to the late Robert C. and Linda Todd Owens.

Barbara was employed in the early child education industry and loved all the children and their families she taught.  She loved being with people and was very active in the First Baptist Church of Kannapolis.

Barbara was predeceased by her parents and is survived by her brother, Cary Wayne Owens; her aunts Marsha Robertson and her husband Tex and Marie Calkins and her husband Tom and many cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, 11am at the First Baptist Church of Kannapolis, 101 N Main St, Kannapolis.

Barbara’s family wants to thank her church family, especially Pastor Tom Cabaniss for their love and support to Barbara.
