Barbara Anne (Dennis) Isenhour

Barbara Anne Dennis Isenhour, 81, of China Grove, went to her heavenly home on Thursday, March 16, 2023

Babs was born on May 28, 1941 to the late James Dennis and Helen Snipes Dennis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jerry Lee Isenhour.

Babs was a proud graduate of Appalachian State University. She taught physical education and coached basketball at Mooresville High School. She was also co-owner of Isenhour Real Estate and Construction Company. She was a professional shopper and avid golfer. She danced to the beat of her own drum.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Dennis (Angela) Isenhour; daughter, Barbara (Charlie) Austin; grandchildren, Cameron Isenhour, Kaleb Isenhour, and Allie Austin; cousin, Suzanne (Stan) Cox; many other special friends and family that brightened her days, and her beloved dogs.

A viewing will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 at Whitley’s Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 21, 2023. A graveside service will follow and begin at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove with Rev. Dr. Chris King officiating.

The family welcomes flowers, but for those who prefer, memorials may be made to St. John’s Reformed Church, 901 N. Main St., Kannapolis, NC 28081.
