Ashley Lynne Crainshaw

Ashley Lynne Crainshaw of Kannapolis went home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 17, 2020 .

Ashley was born October13, 1987 in Concord, N.C. a daughter of Thomas"Pete" Crainshaw and Karen Whitley Crainshaw.  At a early age Ashley made the connection to work with Special Education and she made that her life goal. Ashley enjoyed coaching softball and loved to listen to all types of music and going to the beach. Her time spent at Gardner-Webb College helped her prepare and realize her dream to work with Special Education and volunteer for Special Olympics. Ashley taught briefly at AL Brown and also worked with Kids Only of Concord

Ashley was preceded in death by her mother Karen Whitley Crainshaw, her grandmother and grandfathers.

Family members that will always cherish memories of their time with Ashley are her father Thomas"Pete" Crainshaw, her sister Kimberly Blalock and husband Charles, her grandmother Charlotte Crainshaw. Two nephews Noah and Wesley Blalock, cousins Sandy Chamberlain, James and David Martinez. along with two uncles and one aunt. Her best friend Jennifer Goodman and her canine companion Zayda.

Ashley had a positive impact on many lives from Special Olympics and numerous people she learned to know.

Memorial Services  and visitation  of family and friends will be at a future date.
