Annie Mae "Sissy" (Parker) Owens

Annie "Sissy" Owens, 71, of Kannapolis, passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021.
She was born December 31, 1949 in Iredell Co. to the late David James Parker and Nellie Mae Blackwelder Parker.
Sissy retired from Admark Graphics, she was a loving wife, mother and grandma, she enjoyed spending time with her grand children and was excited about a new one on the way. She will be missed by all her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and also a son, Joshua Dale Owens 2018.
Those left to cherish her memory; her husband William "Sonny" Owens, one daughter Stacey Freeman (Donald) three grandchildren; Eran Hays, Cade Freeman, and Nicholas Freeman, two sisters Sarah Hager, Lula Scaglione, three brothers James, Wayne and Marshall Parker.
Funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kelly Parker officiating.
Visitation will be prior to the service from 2-4 PM Wednesday at Whitley's Funeral Home.
