Anna Mae (Brown) Richter

Anna Mae Brown Richter, 93 of Concord went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Tucker Hospice House following a period of declining health.

She was born May 22, 1929 in Rowan County, NC a daughter of the late Jacob and Anna Mae Kluttz Brown. She was also preceded in death by her husband Richard Clarence Richter, and a grandson, Christopher Brown, three sisters and three brothers.

Anna had been employed as a sales clerk for several department stores for 35 years, retiring in 1990.

She was a member of Kimball Memorial Lutheran Church in Kannapolis. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, puzzles and enjoyed going to the beach.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Friday, March 3, 2023, at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. John Futterer. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park.

Family members left to cherish her memory include two daughters, Brenda Ann Richter Brown of Concord and Cynthia Denise Richter Ledbetter (Jerry) of Mt. Pleasant, three grandchildren; Deanna Miltz (Eric), Laura Ledbetter, and Ethan Ledbetter. She is also survived by Trevor Brown, Zoe Miltz and Zachary Miltz.
