Anita Starnes Obituary

Anita Marie Starnes, age 60, of Landis, passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2019 after a brief illness. Born on August 10, 1959 in Rowan County, she was daughter of the late James Alton Starnes and Sonjia Sechler Starnes.

Aside from her mother, Anita is survived by a son, Chad Phillips of Burlington; a daughter, Wendy Marie Carpenter; two brothers, Doug and Glenn Starnes, both of China Grove; and nine grandchildren.

A memorial service to honor her life will be held on Saturday September 7, 2019 at 1:00 PM at First Reformed Church, 210 North Central Avenue, Landis, NC 28088, with Rev. David Franks officiating.
