Anita Carol (Miller) Gobble

Anita Carol Miller Gobble, 55, of Rockwell, went to her heavenly home on Thursday, March 9, 2023.

Anita was born on January 17, 1968 in Rowan County to the late Hubert Miller and Opal Bryant Miller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Geneva Miller.

Anita worked as a manager in food service for many years. She was an avid reader and her favorite books were Stephen King novels. She was also a fan of horror movies and loved to go eat Japanese food. Most of all, she loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, David (Amy) Whitley Jr.; daughter, Katie (Ezekial) Beeding; grandchildren, Brittany (Daniel) Rigo, Maggie Whitley, Elijah Whitley, Mason Whitley, and Lauren Beeding; great-granddaughter, Isabelle Rigo; brother, Mike (Angie) Miller and sister, Becky Hardison.

The family will receive friends at Whitley’s Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 .m. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at Brookhill Memorial Gardens in Rockwell with Rev. Allen Montgomery officiating.
