Angela Denise (Shue) Simmons

Angela Shue Simmons, 49, of China Grove, passed away, Sunday, September 4, 2022 at Novant Health Rowan.  She was born February 21, 1973 in Cabarrus Co. to the late Roy Eugene Shue and Shirley Juanita Spencer Shue.

Angie enjoyed life and all that came with it, she loved many things; singing was one of her favorites, cooking, planting and enjoying flowers, her grandchildren, going on trips to the beach or mountains, spending time with her family, she was a people person, loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her brother David Eugene Shue. Those left to cherish her memory, her husband David Simmons, four children Meredith Simmons, Zachary Simmons, Matthew Honeycutt, Austin Honeycutt, five grandchildren, Madison, Isabelle, and Taylor Honeycutt, Mallorie and Masson Watson, her sister Sharon Shue Wheeler (James) and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, September 11, at Rodgers Park Baptist Church with Rev. Joel Ervin officiating, burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.  Visitation will be prior to the service from 1-2 PM at the church.
