William "Bill" Anthony Banks

William “Bill” Anthony Banks, 65 years old, of Kannapolis, passed away on February 2, 2023.  Bill was born on August 20, 1957 in Buncombe County, NC to the late Floyd Carol and Nila Shelton Banks.

Bill proudly served his country in the US Marines.  He was a simple man, that never met a stranger as he always liked to talk to people.

Bill was predeceased by his parents.  Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Lynsey Carithers and her husband Austin; his son, Dylan Banks; his brothers, Skip Banks and his wife Valerie, Dale Banks, and Michael Banks; his sister, Denise Bradley and her husband Mark; his grandchildren, Maxton and Bristol Carithers, and his former wife, Jamie Banks.
