William Lester Jordan Jr.

William L. Jordan Jr. 74 of China Grove passed away, Tuesday May 20, 2025 at his home.

He was born October 6, 1950 in South Carolina to the late William Lester Jordan Sr. and Nezzie Joplin Jordan.

William worked many years and retired from Hoechst Celanese, he was a member of Central Baptist Church, he enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his wife Murlinda Ervin Jordan, brothers, Archie, Elby, James, and Ems Jordan, one sister Mae Stewart.

Those left to cherish his memory, his daughter Leslie Honeycutt and her husband Craig, grandson Matthew Honeycutt and his wife Morgan, two great grandchildren Cade and Cohen Honeycutt, two sisters Sherry Jackson and Odell Terpening.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, May 22, at Central Baptist Church with Rev. Dean Hunter officiating, burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be prior at the Church from 11:30 to 1:00 PM.
