William Lloyd "Red" Doss

William Lloyd” Red” Doss, 54, of Kannapolis went to be with the Lord September 18, 2024.

“Red” was born August 26, 1970, in Cabarrus Co., a son of William and Nancy Doss of Kannapolis. “Red” was a lifelong area resident. He worked at Metrolina landscaping as a heavy Equipment operator/superintendent. Red was the best operator in the world, he always said he could run anything on tracks and carry grade from Kannapolis to the beach, which was probably the truth. Red lived his life to the fullest. He loved to laugh and joke around, but he was also a peacekeeper and always wanted everyone to get along and love each other. Red came to know the Lord last year and got baptized it was one of his proudest moments he’s most recent saying was (Gods got me) and those word stand true today because God does have him! He’s walking the streets of heaven with our parents.

“Red” is survived by his Wife Misty Donaldson, two sons, Joshua Doss and William Blake, one daughter, Emily Doss and his brothers, Lee Doss of Kannapolis and David Doss of Lincolnton and his Sister Iris Doster also of Lincolnton, Red, was also the uncle of 12 nieces and nephew.
