Wendy Paulette Ervin, 41, of China Grove died unexpectedly on Saturday, July 2, 2022.
A celebration of life service with a memorial balloon release and gathering of friends will be held at Bakers Creek Park in Kannapolis from 3:15 to 8:30 PM on Saturday, July 9th.
Wendy was born June 22, 1981 in Cabarrus Co., a daughter of Billy Davidson of Kannapolis and LaDonna Hastings of Landis. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Broadus and Rosetta Jenkins, her Aunt JoAnn “Sissy” Hastings and her Uncle Ed Parsons.
Wendy was a life-long area resident and attended A. L. Brown Highschool. She worked at Jimmie’s Restaurant as a dishwasher. Wendy was known as a loving “mother” to many “local kids” in the community.
Her survivors include her parents, her husband, Philip Dewayne Ervin, her son, Christian (Chris) Ervin of Concord and her daughter Breanna “Sassy” Seese (Chase) of Salisbury, her brothers, Lester Caulder of Kannapolis, Jonathan Caulder of Landis and Michael White of Rockwell, her sisters Michelle W. White and Ashley Germond, both of Mooresville.
