Virgil Kemp Leggett

Virgil Kemp Leggett, Jr. 51, of Kannapolis died unexpectedly on Tuesday 24, 2020 at his residence.

Virgil was born October 29, 1968 in Beaufort County, NC a son of the late Virgil Kemp Leggett, Sr. and Alice Rae Jackson Leggett.

Virgil was a loving father to his daughters, Kathryn and Madlyn. He was a member of the Cove Church in Mooresville. He enjoyed bass fishing and hunting.

He was a graduate of Appalachian State University and was employed as IT manager at PureRed Graphics..

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Ellen Konecay Leggett, two daughters, Kathryn and Madalyn Leggett, one sister, Sharon Nicholson (Lee) of Wintersville, NC, a niece, Sara Gray Nicholson and a nephew, Zachary Nicholson.
