Tina Lanette Morgan

Tina Lanette Morgan, 59, of China Grove, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025, with her husband by her side. She was born on September 6, 1966, to the late Curtis and Linda Starkey Hunt.

Tina married the love of her life, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, on April 16, 1983, in Charleston, South Carolina. Tina loved raising her family; they had two daughters, Heather Lanette and Amiee Elizabeth. She loved all her grand babies and great grand babies. Tina did enjoy her flowers, gardening and going camping.

Tina loved riding the motorcycle with Jeff. Her time with Jeff will always be cherished; even though it was too short. Tina will be deeply missed.

Tina is survived by her husband of 42 years, Jeff Morgan; three grandchildren, Ezekel Morgan, Airean Dawson, and Abigayle Dawson; two great grandchildren, Presley Morgan and Ryder Dawson; niece Laurie (Michael) Moore; nephew, Timmy (Tonya) Church; other relatives and many friends.

She preceded in death by her two daughters, Heather Lanette Morgan and Amiee Elizabeth Morgan; her brother, Robert Hunt; her sister, Sharon Hunt Church and her parents.

Tina’s family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, October 27, 2025, for time of visitation, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Whitley’s Funeral Home. Visitation will also be at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, from 11:00 to 12:00 PM.

A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 PM Noon on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, in Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tony Kiker officiating. Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Park.
