Teri Marie LaCivita

Teri Marie LaCivita, 50, of Kannapolis, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 3, 2025 at her residence.

Teri was born on November 6, 1974 in Massachusetts. She was the cherished daughter of Elizabeth “Bette” Breslin LaCivita and the late Salvatore Louis LaCivita.

Teri was known for her beautiful green eyes, which reflected her generous heart and the love she had for life. A true lover of the beach, Teri found peace in the ocean and cherished time spent by the water.

She found joy in simple pleasures, especially in the kitchen where she could often be found baking delicious cakes and pecan cookies that became favorites of everyone who was lucky enough to enjoy them. Her culinary gifts were matched only by her ability to make those around her feel cared for and loved. Teri never met a stranger and was always the first to offer a helping hand. Teri would go to great lengths to help those in need. She was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it, always putting others before herself.

Her caring nature, her warmth, and her willingness to always help will never be forgotten. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Elizabeth “Bette” Breslin LaCivita; constant companion, Lemuel Smith; Step-granddaughter, Jada Smith; and best friend, Rita Stancil.
