Ted Alexander Christy, 72, of Kannapolis, North Carolina passed away on October 28th, 2026.

Ted was born in Cabarrus County on August 6th,1954 to the late Max and Betty Sue Christy.

Ted was a 3rd generation farmer and shoe repairman. Ted was great at fixing motors which he enjoyed doing during his off time. He was also a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Salisbury for many years.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 45 years, Teresa Bentley Christy; his son, Kristopher Christy, grandchildren, Nolan and Brayden; brother Steve Christy (Cheri); along with his nephews, Kirk, Scott, and Aaron, and niece, Amanda.

The family will receive friends at Friendship Baptist Church, in Salisbury on Thursday, November 5, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jason Pierce officiating. Burial will be at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.
